The only thing i did to make it better was i put my own screen protector on and took the built in one out and it works awesome

Fits the phone pretty good but doesnt fit very tight in the belt clip and sometimes falls out if you bump it very much

Two other things if you plan on buying it the bottom comes higher over the screen than the otterbox and the finger scan is covered by the outer layer of case

I bought it for my boyfriend he is not really good with phones always dropping them and cracking the screen

Held up real well had a cheap screen protector but you can remove it and replace with a glass protector and still use the case
