Fit fits my 2008 white macbook just fine its slightly more snug than the oem but once it is installed the computer looks and feels no different than with the apple battery

The battery button accurately lights up the leds on the bottom of the macbook

I did reset the smc when i installed the battery but i havent run any diagnostics to see what the milliamphour capacity is

It is apparent from the balance of the battery in your hand that there is some empty space inside so it is likely that the capacity is lower than a new oem battery would be however apple no longer makes oem batteries for these macbooks so the comparison is rather useless

On a fresh battery my friend watched disneys inside out 3 times in a row before the battery drained and laptop shut itself off
