The scanner works great and i am thrilled to have one finally
This under 40 lotfancy scanner works just as well
I didnt give the product 5 stars because the instructions are in chinese and not english writing
I was going to send the scanner back but i finally got it working after a brief break from my anger with the product
Price
I have been using a datalogic scanner that cost almost 10 times the price of this unit
The price was really affordable for the quality that you get from this handheld scanner
Shipping
We use this in our shipping receiving department and they work as intended
It will certainly survive the rigors of shipping

But the instructions are really confusing

They are written primarily in chinese i think and then there are smaller direction in english scattered throughout the paperwork its just a big sheet you unfold

One reviewer pointed me to a similar scanner that had instructions mainly in english but it was still confusing to set up

It seems to also turn on the laser when something comes into range to be scanned

The isbn code is automatically pasted into the search bar and the search brings up whatever data is available

It is implied that it works with cellphones but a closer reading of the scanty manual seems to indicate that it only works with windows phones
