The track pad is indeed ok. If you can handle a track pad, this is a good keyboard/track pad combo. I do the odd bit of cad editing for the 3d printer on this machine, and it's fine for that.

It works as reliably as a corded keyboard. Great connectivity and insane battery life. Battery life is ridiculously long.

New version is not usable at all. I'm not even 2 meters from my htpc, and the signal is terrible. New configuration tool doesn't work, so you need to swap between control apps/panels.

The trackpad is cheap and doesnt have the capability of using any windows trackpad gestures other than two finger page up/down, and the pinch to zoom function. The mouse * below the touch pad are *.

Main issue is there's no backlighting on the keys. The arrow keys are squashed in, almost as an afterthought. The * are far too close together and it is so easy to accidently depress 2 * together.
