Bradley understood the deal when he wrote this that the heroics tactics lessonslearned and true accounts of the war in afghanistan were perishable and soon to be forgotten by a public and political establishment that treats 911 and the war on terror as largely the imaginative fantasy of a previous generations politically incorrect view of the new world order

The sad conclusion of so many books about war is just how much the guy on the ground pays in blood for decisions made thousands of miles away by generals and colonels that have no idea as to the actual circumstances on the ground
