Already used one of the dots to dim the red light on indicator on bedroom tv. They do not black out, they dim, which is exactly what i was looking for. Works great for ring cams, annoying fans/humidifiers and does not get in the way of other sensors.
Cons
These things are tiny, bout to use for my aftermarket guages in my car. They are completely flimsy, very hard to remove from the flimsy plastic backing. You could just graze over the sticker and it would fall off.
Zero reduction in brightness. Does not totally block out light but dims the light slightly. Guessing the heat from the lights causes the sticky stuff to stop working.
