Pros & Cons

Pros

Quality and inexpensive product. Once it's together, it's solid and feels very secure. It appears to be well made and sturdy enough to use on job sites.

Used this to make a heavy duty 7 foot extension cord for hooking up my rv to an inverter. Accepts heavy gauge cord. Between the heavy use and my knuckle head employees the male plugs need to be replaced.

Easy to wire and look great on my 1930s machinery wiring upgrade. The design of this plug makes it easy to wire, no hassle. First remove one wire screw at a time, make a u with your wire and lay it on the platform, and then screw it down.

Cons

Attempted to fix with a larger screw and the whole ground prong separated from the housing. This is difficult to do with three heavy gauge wires in a confined space. Surprised leviton makes this cheaply designed plug.
