The hostel is kind of cute unfortunately we chose the cheaper rooms downstairs with no windows very dark and not very inviting

However the ciudad vieja area definitely does not feel safe

We were approached by beggars as soon as we got out the taxi and there were at least 15 homeless people sitting on the street of the hostel

We stayed in the cheapest dorm which is downstairs and you have to walk through the restaurant to get there not ideal

Two areas i would note for improvement wifi can be hit or miss and credit cards are not accepted
