Pros
If they are waterproof they are much more durable and can stand up to the rigors of installation and daily use for many years to come. This set is fully waterproof although the controller and power supply are not.
The remote is ir (infrared) which means it is compatible with all home automation controllers. Comes with the remote controller box and a 44 key remote control.
Cons
After a couple of more months of 90+ heat the adhesive seems to be failing. It's not uncommon to walk out to the motorcycle and see a strip of lights hanging by the wires.

You should be able to do 2 strands to a power supply but for consistency in color i recommend one power supply per strand
