Pros
Love the temperature control and the timer. I am sure the ability to change temperature will improve our dehydration quality once i learn what optimum settings to use. Love the temp control.
Comes with a handy booklet for getting started and includes fruit leather trays. I use a applewood smoke flavoring for my chicken so the trays get pretty gooey. The rectangular trays provide plenty of capacity on each tray.
Purchased after much research and dithering. It appears to be well built and anticipate a long life. Hopefully it lasts for years.
One of the dehydrators that i also have is the styx. Love this so much. Highly highly recommend this exact one.
Fan is quieter than desktop fan/heater but noisier than computer. This model is ultra quiet and i love the timer.
Cons
Buyer beware if you are concerned about timely warranty repairs. Called the 800 warranty number and had to leave a message.

I have owned cheaper dehydrators before but this one i believe is the best for the price
The rectangle shape allows for easy food distribution and stores on a shelf much better than the round dehydrators

I flip the slices with a spatula about halfway thru the drying process then they just dump out when dry
