Pros

This one really really opens up wide and allows the dw sprays in to all the parts. It's like a little transformer when it comes to cleaning. Basket also opens up so just rinse and it’s clean.

If it lasts as long as my old press it will be well worth the cost. I got rooked on the price tho, $46. After having several decent ones over the years, this one is in another category all together.

The kuhn rikon garlic press is a restaurant grade tool that will last for a long time. Made from high quality, stamped stainless steel, with stainless steel pins. It's sturdy and almost easy to use.



Cons

Just imho not the best design. Ergonomics are terrible. It's nice to look at, but simply horrible to use. I know this is past the refund window, but if i don't get a refund i will feel straight out robbed.

Kuhn rikon pressure cooker press broke after 7 months of use. Plate gets stuck because the metal deforms and the hinge moves.

It looks like mine may have been counterfeit, even though it was purchased directly from amazon. It does not have the little ridges on the pin securing either side of the strut that drives the crushing piston part. Searched high & low for a non-ch...  Read More
