Pros & Cons
Pros
Each slider has a default cc# so i just have the sampler plugin learn each slider's cc#. Easy to integrate with pro tools daw; uses hui8 protocol so works great.
Reviewer is a novice but a pretty good typist. The trackpad is smooth and responsive.
Cons
The nanopad 2 has much more consistent sensitivity/velocity across all 12 pads. The pads are smaller, harder rubber (feels like plastic) the touch response of the pads is inconsistent and clunky at best.
The sensitivity is very inconsistent. The sliders work intermittently, as do the pan pots. Save yourself the hassle of returning it and buy a better piece of equipment.
The mapping plugin doesn't work with logic 10. The only way to get them back is to uninstall the controller and reinstall the plugin. I suppose one could manually map each function although i'm not sure it would stick.

Price
Even with the cost of the nanokontrol 75 i still saved 75 and have a useful controller
This is a very nice midi controller for the price
For the money this controller is hard to beat
I really wish there were backlights behind the pads but i guess if i wanted something like that i shouldve forked out a little more money
Packaging/appearance
I bought it primarily for the software bundle coupon included in the package

Meet my expectations though the power on sequence for each daw was something that i had to jog me memory with a label on the device

Once installed if you plug it into a different usb port theres a possibility that it will reassign it to a different midi slot making the device not visible to your daw or korg kontrol editor software
