Pros
It works i tested it on a running diesel engine holding it by the exhaust. Came with 3 duracell batteries. Only neg is i thought i was going to break it with how hard i had to press to insert batteries. Compact little unit.
Cons
I feel kind of angry towards the manufacturer for not caring about quality control and therefore allowing people to feel safe (but infact, the machines dont work). Im also dubious of whether it works very well.

Cant comment on battery life but the actual alarm has a 10yr life span

An increased c02 level in your hone is at minimum bad for your health a high level can be deadly

When this happens just open some windows to get a draft through your home and lower the co2 level and then investigate what caused your co2 levels to increases
