Love this quality knife yes i would recommend
Other than that completely satisfied with the knife
No it’s not spring assist but with the flapper on the back of the blade i can open it as fast as the switchblade

Nicely sharp right out of the box
The action was great but is so so since its went through the wash

I purchased a spyderco pm2 just a week after the chill and immediately started using that as my pocket utility knife
The 8cr13mov steel doesnt hold an edge for a long time but its also very easy to sharpen
In summary i would have given this knife a fivestar well 4
And i pwn at least a dozen kershaws just sayin

Its easy to open and close with one hand even if there is no spring or assisted open action
