I have to admit that i think the color changing part is a total gimmick but thats not why i bought the product
It even got off a blue stain 3 inches long that the previous roommate left that we could not get off with the cleaning crew that came

I saw it and took it upon myself to try to return the bowl to its previous cleanliness

Although i did get much of the leafs to eventually break off over the course of several days and hours the bowl had hardened brown deposits deep in the ceramic bowl and were unresponsive
