Pros

Four usb-c ports on top and three usb-a ports on the back. It does quick charging with the a/c adapter plugged in. Because it's powered, i never have connection issues when connected to 3 bus-powered 3. Notebook. My notebook port is revision 3.

Device allows me to access my external drives, wireless mouse receiver, and external dvd. Also reduces wear and tear of connecting and disconnecting drives from mac.

I like the compact design that does not clutter my desk. Super clean styling and very small footprint.

Cons

It struggles to adequately charge 3 devices at once, and immediately begins to overheat if a 4th is connected. The power adapter plug is very loose with the socket on the device side. It only works when plugged into a 5gb/s port on my windows 10 compu... Read More

As someone who relies on tons of external drives for work this is a deal breaker. I was doing some large file transcodes and it was a bummer for sure.
