It set up very easily basically just plugged in the cameras and it works out of the box

Mobile apps are better than i expected and were very easy to set up you basically take a picture of a qr code on screen of the dvr with your phone and that tells the app how to find your dvr through the internet feels like magic and worked first time

The images are easily viewed on a smart from or tablet mine are android and it seems to record well

The cloud based sharing system means that you can use a normal home router where the ip address might change mine is a virgin media hubthe reason it didnt get 5 stars is that the instructions are a very poor translation from chinese and hence very difficult to follow

It took me 2 days to work my way through with a mixture of playing with the device and trying to follow the instruction to try to figure out what they meant exactly
