I really like that it comes on instantly however and possibly only in my situation it only stays on for a couple of seconds if you are not directly under the light

I installed the light on the ceiling of our small kitchen pantry facing down and when you open the pantry door the light comes on and then goes off a couple of seconds later

I set it facing the door at night it will wake you and surprise an intruder

We have in a coat closet it turns on when we open the door and turns off quickly after there is no motion
