Parents can set an alarm to wake up their sleeping children. The child stays in bed until the green light comes on, no alarm used or needed. The kids now ask for it to go on every night, and we all can sleep in more.

My husband is techy and figured out how all the settings worked right away. The controls aren't too tricky. But having to reset and reset is a bit much.

Although a bit cheaply made, it is very cute. The quality is even better than pictured. It isn't the most durable clock out there, but mine just sits on a shelf.

Mommy and daddy mutually follow the rules we've explained to them. Our daughter is a big elmo/abby fan, which makes this alarm clock even better.
