Ive had this case for almost a year now and i have bounced my phone off the grocery store parking lot dropped it kicked it stepped on it dropped it flat on the face flat on the back on the corners dropped it out of my truck pretty much everything but run over it and i bet if i took off my screen protector my phone would look brand new

The outer aluminum ring has warped a bit from dropping the phone on a corner once or twice but the ring took the shock not my phone

The back of the case is clear so if you have a colored iphone it would show it off beautifully

I have had to take the outer ring off a couple of times for the headphone jack use but that was only with thicker cord plugs or card readers
