It has a smooth silky feeling material on the back of it which is sky blue i love the way this feels against my arm that was one of the things i didnt really care to much about on the ones my kids received they was made of a different type materials that didnt feel anything like this does
It has two openings in the back one of which is to slide your phone down in and the other is to use for whatever you may choose to use it for i use it to put money in so i dont have to carry my purse around with me you can also put a ipod down in it if you dont use your phone for music
The strap that wraps around your arm has wholes in it so it is breathable and not making your arm sweat in that area
I wouldnt trade it for any of the others we have received
