Pros

Shopped around and got the best price here at amazon. Decent tens and voltage. Plenty fast and stable. Satisfied with my purchase.

Upgraded my son's asus game computer with this new i7chip. Upgraded bios first, installed chip and everything worked. Skylake micro architecture and high ipc. Good for gaming in 2021.

Runs at about 70c at load in 4. Overclocked nicely to 4. Great temps, even under load. Stable between 27-35f while playing rainbow 6 and anthem.

Cons

The store says it is defective. Then being insulted by the seller on top of it. This creates latency issues making recording nearly impossible. Thermal paste residue and already broken factory seal.

I am not a gamer, who has time? Bought the 6700k chip in feb of 2016 and its already dead. Lets say the cpu in your hp laptop failed.
