Lasted almost 5 months it worked perfectly until it stoped working

It keeps the cord from sticking up and putting unnecessary pressure on both the cord and the audio jack in my phone if it were to be accidentally tugged on

I did have to turn my phone down and readjust with the car stereo so that it wouldnt distort

There is a whirring noise that is mildly distracting if volume is low or no music is playing and tape is still selected from radio controls

I bought this for my old car and it worked perfectly if you are on my same position or even with an old radio in your house and you dont want to change it this would be your solution
