When i first received my digital thermometer i was looking over the paperwork and i saw that it could not only do the forehead temperature but also the ear and you can also check out bottle temperature water temperature and for me it even work for room temperature and i know exactly what i had my room set up so i was amazed it was completely accurate i also checked the temperature with my ear and my forehead and i really was pleasantly surprised to see that it really works great and i say this because its so lightweight i am like most people i form an opinion of it when i took it out of the box because of the lightweight of the thermometer i didnt have a high opinion at first but the performance of the thermometer change
