Pros

I have these installed in my 1997 miata. Even in a minimally-insulated car with lots of road and wind noise, the sound produced by these things is incredible. I have them in a 2000 toyota mr2 spyder as the only speakers in a poor sound stage.

They are 2 ohm just like oem so there is no volume loss. The bass is great and the vocals are crisp. Being able to position the tweeter separately from the mid bass really opens the sound-stage and makes a ton of difference.

Coming from an audiophile with years of experience - these speakers sound great! Sound and response is fantastic but they really need an amp to come alive. It reminds me of the hd350's (headphones) without an amp.

They're powered by a rockford fosgate pbr300x2. They're fine, but they're not fantastic. I have thempowered by a polk pa d5000.

They just make phenomenal speakers. These speakers scream! They kick a**.

Cons

Quality of the sound is cold and cheap sounding. Very much like a handheld 9v transistor am radio from the 80s. They sound tinny and hollow.
