I can see that i might be able to fabricate removing the lower panels and moving the doggy door to the bottom but not without damaging the unit and the dogs ate the box so i can’t return it so i will have to fabricate it

I decided to try this one because if we had a problem we could easily remove it not a permanent structural change

Cons we had to add the insulation strips along the edges

There is still a small very small gap but it didnt let in the cold air

I had to return this product because i have a smaller than normal sliding door
