Edges are sharp each one holds only a little cold and the lack of domeshape in the material means it is just two flatish pieces glued together so it doesnt fit that nicely pressed against a curve like your forehead or a limb

After 9 months of use none have broken open although the white cloth like coating on the back is getting thin in places
