This will hold up to light abuse but the wood and the surrounding material wont keep your phone from breaking due to negligence

The item description is correct concerning the openings for the lightning connector as well as the headphone jack because they are rather tight

Ive dropped the phone a couple of times and have had no issues with the protecting the phone though i do have a screen protector on it that covers the entire front as well

It does not have ridges that raise above the screen so it probably doesnt protect the phone much which is something to take note of

However i was hoping that the texture itself was a little more rough more like genuine wood less like plastic
