This unit replaced an old and very overpriced oreck compacto 9 canister vacuum

This vacuum has to much suction on low pile commercial carpeting such that the attachment does not want to slide across the carpet i have to use the bleed valve on the wand to reduce the suction

The curved metal handle does not want to stay connected to the flexible hose no matter how hard you try to push them together i might have to get out the ole black electrical tape and tape them together

Thus causing the motor to over heat and then you have to wait about 3040 minutes to cool down before you can vacuum again

There is no good way to wrap the cord on the unit

It would also be nice if the attachments would attach directly to the hose instead of always requiring the metal pipe to use the attachments
