Pros

The all metal construction feels great and exudes quality. It’s fairly durable and continues to work after having been dropped. Good mechanics and well-made.

Led bulb, tail clap clicky switch. Small size is also convenient if you need a small, bright light for nighttime walks.

I am still on the original rechargeable eneloop battery. It uses a single aa or one cr123 (i have not tried it yet) and is brighter than expected running just one aa battery.

It fits a magpul scout mount and secures well. Fits easily in your pant pocket. It's also held up to the recoil of a 12 gauge.

Light tap function on the back button are a great one-up on the surefire e1l. It defaults to the low mode which for my every day use seems bright enough. It has three settings - bright, normal, and strobe.

Cons

Light is very dim and does not toggle 3 modes. No flashing option and no zoom. I'd have to dismantle the light to see. One possible problem is that the light ring will loosen and fall off during its travels in my backpack.

Bought this on a flash sale at christmas for my husband for a steal and hoped it would be the quality others had mentioned

The other two are still good but the quality and feel is not there

Ive had them both for a little while and theyve perfomed flawlessly

This was very cheap when i purchased and it was definitely worth the price

Competitiveness

It can also run on a cr123a battery and it is slightly brighter

I love how it can run off of either a aa or a cr123 battery

By shorten it it will take a cr123 lithium battery

One improvement would be to the instructions include photos on how to change from aa battery configuration to a cr123 battery configuration
