It was purchased to convert vga to hdmi but i was hoping it would work with sega dream cast game console

However it outputs 480pstill an enormous improvement over 480i on modern displaysso it appears the box doesnt actually upscale

This makes no difference at all and any decent display can likely upscale the image better than a cheap scaler box could anyway

Also to people with problems make sure youre using vga box capable dreamcast games

Sometimes it wont switch resolutions properly and youll get unsupported resolution or just a black screen
