I have used the slowcooker just once and was very pleased with how fast it cooked and the quality of cooker is excellant
Ive been using this for 2 years now and havent had any ruined dishes or any problems with the unit itself
Some reviewers said they had issues with the dial controls
Only downside is its too big for small batches but to no fault of the product itself

The dial which is the only link to the crockpot seems very flimsy to me it should be a little more sturdy and dial more evenly but it wiggles around in your fingers and doesnt make a sturdy contact with the crock pot itself

Timing mechanism is a little tricky to set the first time deducted 1 star since there is no onoff mechanism

Plus you must wait a few minutes for it to reset plug it back in too soon and it remembers the setting which can be useful but is also a nuisance

It was recommended to me to buy the version of this that has the meat probe but bear in mind that the hole for the probe is going to remain open and steam will escape if you arent using the probe
