I suggest moving the camera back far enough that the lens of the camera and the lens on the spotting scope do not make contact

It tends to rock swing a little so the camera can easily be bumped out line with the eyepiece

Although its a wellmade item and does what its supposed to do hence five stars im still not convinced these devices are really worth the money or effort

Getting a camera or phone mounted centered and dialed in on an object is tedious business a process i think might work okay on terrestrial objects but outside of that i think only the sun or moon have a chance of getting a good picture out of it all
