I have the hero with the touch screen so i could see what i was taking photos of initially i was worried because it looked like everything had a red tinge to it as opposed to just color correcting at depth but upon review of the photos on my lap top this was not the case

The red is great for clear water like you might find in the caribbean but if youre diving in cold water like monterrey ca a magenta filter would be better

When you enter the water just make sure you take it off and put it back on again to get rid of the air bubbles

The reef was not as bright as we expected so it is hard to tell how well the filter would work in different conditions
