The reel works very smoothly. The reel extends and retracts smoothly and the roller guides are smooth. The unit seems quite sturdy and will probably last a lifetime.

The only issue i had with this is the mounting holes were not drilled correctly. Of coarse this is relatively easy to fix with a step drill bit. This thing is heavy duty and extremely heavy so if you want it mounted up high, get a helper.

The hose quality is drastically different. In the process of taking them down and hauling them to the trash.

This is a cheap knockoff that only has the goodyear name painted on it. Cons - definitely not made by goodyear - just license chinese stuff. The hose is very faded and the blue is pale blue.
