The spade is one piece with a screw cap

I have two problems with this

One the spade has ridges on both sides

The ridges on the top side will get caught by the binding post and prevent the binding post from getting a good tight seal

The other problem is they are some sort of gold plated brass so not the best conductor

My only gripe is that sometimes the orings will catch on the thread but you just back it out and retighten it carefully
