My only critique would be that there is no middle bracket hence zero support in that area

There is a strong front bracket a bracket and a rear bracket c bracket but it seems that a b bracket does not exist for honda oem running boards but the actual frame chassis has predrilled holes for where it would go

Otherwise these are not necessary as the 2016 honda pilot is just not tall enough for adults to need these

Including the main body of the board there are plastic housings underneath intended for the lighted version that stick out towards the ground even more
