The cooking temperature actual temperature is user adjustable to plusorminus 35 degrees allowing you to correct any disparity in the actual temperature and the cooking temperature displayed

The manual states that the oven has very strict tolerances for heat and the clicking is the oven adjusting to maintain a perfect temperature

One thing to note is that this oven is quite deep and it might not fit in your opening if you have a gas line in the recess

I installed it along with a kitchenaid gas stovetop kcgs550ess and the mounting brackets for the stovetop went down too far and the oven hit them so i had to modify the brackets in order to get the oven to install as well

Please measure better than i did before purchasing anything as it is not a trivial matter to modify mounting hardware and to build cabinet extensions to accommodate a larger oven if the depth is restricted because of a gas pipe
