Highlights
Quality
Quiet easy to setup and a quality product
Very happy with product in every way
Overall i had been happy with the marineland filter but wanted one a little larger
The few things i disliked about the marineland filter the designers of the fluval obviously fixed
Price
This was an upgrade and the price was worth it
Packaging/appearance
It only took me about twenty minutes to setup the filter from out of the box
Competitiveness
It is smaller than my fluval 605 but it is effective for my smaller tank
I have had fluval filters for years for my aquatic turtle tank
I worked with fluval customer service since it was still under warranty
I upgraded to the 306 from a fluval 205 that came with a used tank i purchased
