The bluetooth remote that came with it is not a very good unit it was not a reliable device and i would look for a different remote to go with this headset

I threw it away and just hooked up a ps3 controller to my phone and all was well

Only drawback is lack of navigation button and the remote control is pretty much useless with galaxy s6 apparently 3 of the buttons are capable of messing with the volume but there is zero other function at all and it does not replace the need for a navigation button
