It does have an auto input switch that works sometimes only because the devises that are hooked up do not drop the hdmi signal when disconnected

When hooked up more than one input sources and if only one sourcebeing turned on the switch will switch to this source automatically when it is power on other than that theremote control will do the switching

Only drawback is that the remote does not have a power control on it you have to go to the device and turn it on and off manually
