Pros

The battery-powered condition was a surprise, but stands to be a nice plus for me to be honest. The system also has a connection in the battery compartment for a power adapter. It has tamper detection as well - looks like it will last.

This is plenty loud for my tri-level home.

Only negatives are that the strobe is really just a red flashing led. I know many people would use this feature if it would be mounted in an area prone to tampering.

Cons

Wouldn't recommend such a glitchy product. Allows a sliding scale of strobe only, siren only, strobe and siren. Luckily, the other siren works reliably.

Customer service is nonexistent. Everspring has no support, so if the device fails, you'll here silence when you call or submit an online request. It works well initially, then just goes offline and no longer communicates with smartthings.

For this low price sounds good to me

This connected to my vivint system just fine through the zwave setup

Update i recieve notices on a weekly basis that the unit has disconnectedreconnected on the zwave system

Still on original batteries out of the box

My smartthings would not detect the siren no matter what i did tried master resetting hub and tried using a compatable dc adaptor

No alert sent to smartthings app when tampered
