Pros
This thing is accurate enough and is great for troubleshooting. Performs just as accurate. Good for the money. I have a $500 fluke 87v and i never use it anymore because this meter is so amazing.

Tried the clamp meter on some power cords and read 0 amps hmm must be defective

I wish it had a backlight and i could override the auto off but at this price point i cannot and will not complain

I am an industrial mechanic so i troubleshoot lots of electrical problems 24v sensors plc io heaters pumps 480v motors 120v residential wiring etc

The only things i dont like it doesnt have a backlight and sometimes i have to bang the batteries to get it to turn on

Read some other reviews that said you can only have one wire through the clamp so i split the cord and yes then it read amps okay

I didnt read that in the description anywhere so i was a bit surprised at that limitation but magnetic field physics probably has a thing or two to say about that

Works but clamp design is soso because the metal tips end up not opposing each other well which means the readings vary hugely based on how you midhold the wire in the clamp as demonstrated by the pen in the attached photo
