I think the paper quality is similar to moleskin but there is less bleed through

The elastic strap used to either mark your place or hold the notebook closed is icing on the cake

These books are equal to if not better than the higher priced competitors and highly recommend these to those who are concerned about cost
Absolutely love these notebooks even more than moleskins
Theres like a 12inch margin on either ends
Not as good as leuchtturm but quite good factoring in it is roughly 23rds of the price of leuchtturm

The pages are thicker making them ink pen friendly the writing even from an ink pen is hard to see from the underside of the page

However i am totally satisfied with the essentials notebook because i was able to get two of them for the price of one moleskine notebook and the moleskine notebook while still superior is not doubly superior

I was trying out some other journals that creaked a lot when opening like the amazon basics journal which always made me so nervous this does not do that

No first pages are falling out i had that trouble with moleskines and the paper feels pretty thick
