The picture quality is to die for. It has a stunning picture. The picture is fabulous right out of the box with factory settings. Picture is incredible and crisp.

Black levels are astounding. Color balance is good (some tuning results in even better performance which is impressive) image is sharper.

Be careful before purchasing an epson cinema projector. The product however is less than satisfactory. For $2000 plus, there's no way the lag should be this bad on this projector.

The epson 5030ub is a terrific projector on every level

Thx mode for movies is perfect right out of the box

The espon 5030ub home projector is a very good model for the money

I chose this projector over a comparable sony because of the rf emitter being built in

Ive seen the pictures and they do look better than my 5030ub but once again its only by degrees

This review is for someone like me who made a mistake and bought the epson 5040ub
