It has a non-stick coating, pfoa free, nonstick which is said to be eco friendly. Non stick coating still works perfectly.

Pan cooks well and evenly. This is by far the best cookware i've owned. I use this set to cook veg and rice.

These are a nice weight -- not as heavy as the professional calphalon ones. They are sturdy, heavy but not too heavy and the non-stick coating is solid. This model, symphony is their sturdiest.

Comes with vented glass lid. Vent hole in the top helps release steam so there is less chance to boil over. The lid has a steam vent, which i like. It's great to see through the lid to see how the water level is doing, how fast it is boiling.

All i need is a sponge that has a non- scratching scrubbing surface to get the pot clean. Food comes off easily but it is a bit cumbersome if you have a small sink. Even going through the dishwasher multiple times it still looks new.
