I knocked off a star in my rating because of the quite small diameter of the washer and collar you have to be very accurate if drilling a hole for these

It comes complete with a rubbery sealing ring and a plastic locking nut

This latter item is not necessary for my water butt as the tap screws into an already threaded hole but it would have been required if a hole had to be drilled – which would have to be 1820mm diameter

Once fitted the tap is a bit stiff but it doesn’t drip – so 5stars
