Pros
At the 2 setting it is virtually silent and produces a decent flow of air. High speed mode is quite noisy, but speed 3 and 4 are quite and can be used during night. At a noisy 10 maximum setting this air multiplier moves 500 litres of air a second.

It is pricy initially but will pay for itself in time. The one downside is the cost. There is hardly a funding-application meeting where we do not have another ward or department requesting these.
It is easy to slot the 2/3 parts together. You plug it in and get busy with the remote control. The remote really is useful and the design is child/pet friendly.
Cons
The noise level is ridiculous unless it’s on the lowest setting. Impossible to sleep with the noise of it. The fan sometimes responds to the remote control, sometimes doesn't.

If you want a seriously strong breeze then youll need to turn it up with the corresponding increase in noise

The unit is reasonably quiet on settings under 5 but you will probably want the unit to be static on low settings you wont feel much benefit in a large room if the unit is oscillating

I did plenty of research and this fan consistently comes out on top in comparisons but as a reviewer on the dyson site commented the price only makes any sense if you regard it as a piece of functioning art

You can leave this out all year round as it looks like a nice piece you wouldnt want to do that with an ordinary fan
