Honestly i think being able to take the silicone bits off is useful since if they dont fit your ear right you can replace them with bigger or smaller ones from any earbuds

The only thing is that the white band around the outside has slowly started to rub off but that did not start until after a year and a half of use and doesnt effect the functionality of the product

The only improvement i would see would be if there was an adapting cord that could be attached to them so they could be safely removed during a concert without the fear of dropping them onto a dark and dirty floor

When i left the venue and took them out i had next to no ringing in my ears after and felt like i did my part to protect my hearing

One of the inner ear parts separated and got stuck in my ear when i tried to remove them
