Not only is it luxurious in color and softness but it heats up well! Quickly warms up and has a timer to automatically shut off.
It's weighted, but not overly heavy. My favorite thing about it is that it is weighted.
Using this for a litter of newborn pups. Weighted blankets aim to evoke the same therapeutic effects of a security blanket by intensifying the sensation of being held, stroked, cuddled, or squeezed.
Cons
The "massage" on this thing is a joke. It vibrates only in two specific spots – right where these ginormous boxes are located. There are two vibrators inside the fabric that are extremely uncomfortable to lay on top of.
